WELCOME TO HOLY TRINITY C of E AIDED SCHOOL

Head Teacher - Holy Trinity C of E School - Seaton CarewOn behalf of the Governors and Staff, I would like to take this opportunity to offer both you and your child a sincere and warm welcome to our school.

We look forward to working in partnership with you to provide a happy secure and stimulating learning environment for everyone in our school.

We have produced this prospectus in the hope that you will find it interesting and a useful source of reference whilst your child attends our school. Details of any holiday dates, changes in staff and organisation will be sent to parents via the weekly newsletter which you will receive every Friday.

At your 'new starters' meeting you will be given a file for subsequent newsletters. These will build up into a record of your child's time here at school. We value our good relationship with parents and are always most grateful for parental involvement within school.

Our village has had a Church School since the early 1840's. The site of the first school is Ashburn Street, with places for more than 160 children. Today the old buildings are the property of Seaton Carew Church Council and are used as a choir vestry and church hall. The present school was built on Church glebe land at a cost of £6,000 and opened in 1925.

Holy Trinity School is a church and village school in the truest tradition. We have a school and ethos, of which we are all extremely proud and which has served the Church families and the village community for over 161 years.

Our aims are to meet the needs of individual children so that they are able to make the most of their abilities and to achieve personal excellence. We aim to prepare them to take on the responsibilities of later life in an atmosphere of a caring Christian setting, where there is equality of opportunity for all children.

Yours sincerely

Amanda Baines
