BSF Investment
Dyke House Sports and Technology College will be the first Hartlepool school to benefit from BSF investment.  Detailed plans are currently being drawn up for somewhere between £12 million and £13.5 million of investment in the buildings.  This will involve a massive re-modelling of the existing Dyke House buildings. The staff and students of Dyke House will move to the former Brierton School site from September 2010 until summer 2012, to enable works to take place at Dyke House with the minimum of disruption to teaching and learning.

In partnership with Dyke House Sports and Technology College an open meeting has been arranged at Dyke House School on Monday 5th October at 6.00pm.  During this meeting it will be explained in some detail how the decant will work, including possible transport arrangements.  The transport arrangements will be discussed in detail at a meeting of the Council’s Cabinet on 19th October.

Jeans for Genes day
Our school will be taking part in Jeans for Genes day on Friday 2nd October.  If you child would like to take part in this event and help raise money for this charity then we ask that they wear their jeans to school on this day with their school jumpers and make a £1 donation.
