Shop for Schools 2009

Thank you to everyone who supported our school by donating points for shopping in Middleton Grange Centre.  Our school will be receiving a Playground Sports Kit for our prize for the total points received of 3925.

Milk

As you have probably heard on the news the Dairy Farmers of Britain, who are the supplier of our cartons of milk, have announced that the administrators have been called in. This has meant that we have not received milk since Tuesday of this week.

The Dairy Farmers of Britain were the only suppliers of third cartons.  The only way to get milk delivered for school now is in 2 litre bottles.  As you can imagine this is not practical for distribution to pupils throughout the school.

We are therefore sorry to inform you that we are unable to provide milk for the foreseeable future.  We will arrange to make a refund to those pupils who opted to have milk this term.

Choir

Well done and thank you to our choir for taking part in last night’s concert at the Borough Hall.  This was a big success.  All the children who took pat really rose to the occasion and performed exceptionally well.
Can I please remind you that there will be no choir with Mrs Gale next week.

Tesco Vouchers

Thank you to everyone who has sent in Tesco Vouchers.  We received over 40,000 vouchers, which have now been banked.  We will let you know shortly what we have managed to order for school.

Kwick Cricket

Congratulations to our Y6 Kwick Cricket team who won the Hartlepool town final last Friday and went on to represent Hartlepool at The Riverside Stadium at Chester-Lee- Street on Monday.

They showed great sportsmanship and won 3 of the 5 games that they played.  They did us proud.  Well done.
