School Meals
Anyone wishing to make changes to their meal arrangements from September please inform the school office in writing before Friday, 10th July.

Donation
We can now inform you that our anonymous donation of £1,000 was received from Bill Warren, an ex pupil, whose children also attended our school.  Mr Warren took part in “Are you Smarter than a ten year old” which was broadcast on TV last week, where he won £50,000.  We would like to say a big thank you once again for his generosity, which was used towards improvements to our outside provision.

Bike Stamping
Our community police officers will be at school on Tuesday, 30th June at 2.30p.m.  They will be carrying out bike stamping and will also be available to talk to as part of their school desk visit.  If you or your child would like your bike stamped or would like to talk with one of the officers please come along to school between 2.30 and 3.30 pm.  Please remember to bring a note of your postcode if you are wanting your bike etched.

Packed lunches
Can you please make sure, if you provide your child with such items as frubes, cheese strings, etc. at lunchtime that they are able to open them.

PD Days 2009/2010

Please note we will no longer be having a PD day on 12th February 2010 and 1st April 2010.  These have been replaced with PD Days on Monday, 25th January 2010 and Monday 1st March 2010.
P.D. Days for academic year 09/10 are therefore now as follows:
Thursday, 3rd September 2009,
Friday, 4th September 2009,
Monday, 25th January 2010,
Monday 1st March 2010,
Friday, 28th May 2010

Summer Fair - Stall Donations
The PFA Annual Summer Fair will be held next Wednesday 1st July 2009 from 3pm onwards.  If you have any unwanted books, DVDs (U or PG certificate only please), games or unwanted items suitable for the tombola, please can you send them into school next week.  Any donations will be gratefully received.

We are also looking for willing volunteers to help set up on the afternoon or run stalls during the fair.  If you are able to help in any way, however small, please contact either Andrea Newton on 07533059455 or Louise Solomon on 07734734554.

Cake Stall – Summer Fair
Each child has been given a paper plate to bring home today and the PFA would be most grateful if you could return it to school on Wednesday morning with a contribution for the cake stall.  Cakes can be shop bought or homemade and any contribution large or small would be greatly appreciated.  The response over the last few years has been overwhelming so please come along on Wednesday for some tasty treats!

Eczema sufferers
There will be a meeting on Tuesday, 14th July at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. at the Belle Vue Community Sports Centre, Kendal Road, Hartlepool to discuss setting up a support group for eczema sufferers where they would welcome your comments and ideas.
