Church Worship
We apologise that we have been unable to attend church this week. Many of you will know that this is due to Father Paul being ill. We would like to invite you all to a service on Wednesday which will be led by the staff and pupils from Holy Trinity. Please keep Father Paul in your thoughts and prayers during this time. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Worship
Thank you to all the year 5 parents, friends and family members who attended the worship led by year 5 this afternoon. The children really enjoyed sharing this time with you. Dates for forthcoming collective worships in school, to which parents are invited will be sent out via the class teacher. We have now seen three excellent pupil led worships this year, with a variety of themes. If your child’s class has not yet led worship, you will be receiving an invitation before the end of the summer term.
France Meeting
We will be holding a meeting in school for all parents of pupils going to France in March on Tuesday, 9th March at 5.00 p.m. Please note this meeting is in March and not February as previously advised

School Inspection of Anglican Schools
Following our very successful visit by Ofsted we are going to be visited by the Anglican team on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Being a Church Aided School we receive an additional inspection which looks at the Christian ethos Religious Education and Worship within our school. We will receive a written report in a few weeks time which we will send to you.
Water bottles
I am pleased to inform you we now have a stock of water bottles at a cost of £1 each. We have been out of stock for sometime now because our usual supplier went into liquidation at the end of last year. Another company has however taken over the sports bottles side of that company and been able to manufacture and supply the same bottles.

Appointments
Can I please remind you that if your child is attending a medical appointment during school hours it is necessary to provide school with a copy of the appointment card or letter. If an emergency appointment is made over the telephone please ask for a card when attending the appointment and provide school with this on your child’s return. This information is needed so the appropriate mark is entered in the attendance register.
