“The Seaton Crew”
Would you be interested in childcare when the school has its next PD Day which is on Friday 28th May. The Seaton Crew are looking at offering childcare in school from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. The cost for the full day would be £15 per child and £7 for each sibling attending. This is however only available to pupils who currently attend Holy Trinity School. Each child would need to bring a packed lunch however a snack will be provided in the afternoon. A programme of activities will be provided nearer the date. If you are interested in taking up this offer of childcare on the 28th May please complete and return the slip below as soon as possible in order that the Seaton Crew can make the necessary arrangements.
Kwick Cricket – Y4,5, & 6
Mrs Storm is on a course next week and therefore will not be holding her cricket session on Wednesday. The cricket however will be on as normal the week after, i.e. Wednesday, 12th May, which will be the last session for this half term. If your child is interested in joining in the cricket sessions next half term and is in years 4, 5 or 6, please collect a consent form from the office and return to Mrs Storm.

Christian Aid
Christian Aid week begins on Sunday. We are supporting our church and the other 22,000 churches across the UK & Ireland who will be collecting money. This year’s campaign aims to raise £14,000,000.00 to provide clean water and sanitation to villages in India & Africa. Each classroom will have a Christian Aid envelope for any donations which will be collected next week. Please give generously to this worthy cause.
Sun Safety Advice to Parents/Carers
As we are coming into the summer months, hopefully we will have some nice weather. When the summer weather is here can all parents/guardians please ensure children’s shoulders are covered and they bring a sun-hat to school (which they will be reminded to wear for all outdoor activities including P.E.). Parents/carers should apply sun-cream to their child on a morning before school. All sun-cream brought into school should be clearly marked with the child’s name. If sun-cream is to be reapplied throughout the day the child will be asked to do it themselves (for this reason spray on application of a high protection factor or a roll on total block is obviously best). Please make sure your child also brings a bottle of water to school each day. Thank you for your co-operation.
Carlton Outdoor Education Centre
Can all medication for the Carlton Outdoor Education visit please be handed in to Mrs Baines no later than next Friday. This must be clearly labelled and accompanied with the correct paperwork.
Please remember to post any letters to your children in good time to Carlton Outdoor Education Centre, Carlton-in-Cleveland, North Yorkshire, TS9 7BD. Please also remember to include at least one self addressed envelope including stamp so your child can write back to you. |
